August 2nd, 3pm-5pm

National Night Out is an action-packed evening of community fun, but at the heart of this awesome event is building police-community relationships and getting our kids 'back to school ready.' One way we can have fun while giving back to the teachers and first responders in our community, is to write letters of thanks. Kids can come enjoy this fun and meaningful craft; one of many stations for kids to circulate through during the evening. After completing their cards, they will receive a raffle ticket to enter into the prize drawings.

Sign up here if you’re willing to help spread some LOVE to our teachers and first responders through this project.

Volunteers can serve a shift from 4:30-6:30 (set up & craft), or 6:30-8:30 (craft & tear down).

Your project leader will be in touch as we get closer. If you have questions beforehand, feel free to contact us

National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

In Waterford, our school district and numerous other organizations partner with the Sheriff Department and Love Waterford to create a free, family friendly event for the whole family that helps get our students "Back to School Ready".

With lots of games and crafts, free food, a water slide, free haircuts, live music, free photos, face painting, and more, it's always a night to remember. As kids visit stations, they can collect entries to win awesome prizes.
